Orientation resource race
Advising, counseling, IT help desk, the rec center. Teams race to find every office that will matter later, with bonus points for a photo with a staff member.
roamli
Turn the checklist nobody reads into a race across campus. Teams earn points at the career center, the library and the tutoring office, meet each other on the way, and finish the week knowing where things are.
Kellogg's ACE program turned Evanston into a welcome race for incoming MBA students.
Read the Kellogg storyA checklist works because it tells new students where to go. Roamli keeps the list and gives them a reason to finish it: points, a team and a race they can see.
Students who find the tutoring center in September are the ones who use it in November. Walk them past advising, counseling and the rec center in order, set teams loose on a hunt across campus, or hand them a list of clues and let the ones who know campus best win. Tag stops Academic, Wellness or Food so students can filter the map.
A set path, stop to stop, with an optional line connecting them on the map. Made for history walks, art trails, campus tours and anything with a story to tell in order.
Every stop in play at once, in any order. Hunts show a search zone instead of the exact spot, so teams still have to look, and the fastest planners win.
No map needed. The challenge list is the whole game, so it works anywhere: across a city, around a campus, or through every floor of your office.
Every stop asks for proof: a team photo under the arch, a short video at the rec center, the answer to a riddle about the library. It all comes to your review gallery, not to a public feed. Approve photos in bulk, decline anything as incorrect or inappropriate, and change a decision later if you need to. Trivia answers that match your accepted answers approve themselves, so staff spend their time on the photos that need a human.
A live leaderboard turns "I should probably go to the library" into "we're 20 points behind third." Players see their points land on their phone the moment you approve a submission. When plans change, one announcement reaches every player, pinned where they'll see it. Prizes unlock automatically and are claimed at the bookstore counter, where staff tap Redeem so each one is used once.
Waiting for the next approval…
A freshman class is a different job from a hundred MBA students. The setup is the same; the planning is about teams, waves and how fast your staff want to review photos.

Every office is a stop worth points, so the tutoring center they find in September is the one they use in November.
A live leaderboard and points that land the moment you approve keep teams moving to the last stop.
Submissions land in your review gallery, not a public feed, and nothing counts until your team approves it.
Students join from any phone browser with a link or QR code, with no app to install and no per-student fee.
Events are unlimited on Creator and Creator Pro, so the hunt you build for orientation is just the first one.

Each floor plays as a team with one Captain phone. Your RAs get a reason to rally, and the standings give the whole building something to talk about.
Turn a crowded quad into a loop: a trivia question at every club table and a photo challenge at the ones that want new members most.
What Kellogg did for its international MBA students: a hunt through the town around campus, from Weber Arch to "The Rock", so newcomers meet the local community in their first weeks.
How Kellogg ran itThe traditions, the old haunts, the plaque nobody reads. Alumni and students play side by side, and the photo zip is ready to download as soon as the game ends.
A self-guided loop families can play between sessions, with stops that show off the campus you want them to picture themselves on.
Hands-on or hands-off. Your team can build it in the portal, or ours can build it with you.

Drop challenges on the map yourself, or hand it to us. With The Roamli Touch, our team writes the challenges and sets everything up.
Walk it with your student staff, then share one link or QR code. Roamli builds a Player Guide page so every team knows the rules.
Review submissions as they arrive and watch the leaderboard move. Afterward, download every photo and video for your slideshow.
One annual plan can cover orientation, res life, homecoming and admitted-student day. There's no per-event or per-student fee.
Use our builder to create, launch and monitor your event yourself. Add your challenges, set your start and end times, share one link, and you're live.
We adapt one of our starting formats (holiday office hunt, downtown shop-local, orientation week, art walk) to your place and your people.
Want our team to handle design, setup and launch? Or just some extra help and peace of mind? We design, build and run it with you.
